Recipe Ingredients

1/4 cup coarse salt
1/4 cup dark brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup paprika
3 tbsp. freshly ground black pepper
1 tbsp. garlic powder

1 tbsp. poppy seeds

1 tbsp. dried onion flakes

1 tsp. cayenne pepper

Cooking Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and mix well. Transfer to a covered jar that will hold one cup. Store away from heat and light. This rub will keep for several months. Shake or stir well before using.
